We're Getting Married!

We were introduced to one another after our mothers met at a family friend's wedding. They were sitting at the same table at the reception ironically and got to chatting. Mundy noticed our mothers exchanging pictures on their cell phones and thought nothing of it. They parted ways and Udochi's mother let her know that a young gentleman she recently met would be calling her. Intrigued by her mother's information, Udochi kept an open mind because she trusted her mother's taste. Mundy called about a week later, and the two shortly spoke and set up a date to Founding Farmers for brunch. At brunch, they discovered they both loved basketball and documentaries, and the conversation flowed easily over delicious food and drinks. Mundy was drawn to Udochi‘s genuine spirit, humor, confidence and beauty. Udochi was smitten by Mundy’s genuineness, Selflessness, chivalry, and affection. Family and friends have commented on their devotion and service to each other and to God throughout their time together. The two have been inseperable and are extremely excited about their upcoming nuptials.

Mundy wanted to plan a memorable proposal for Udochi, so he decided on a destination proposal. This was also their first vacation together, making the occasion even more special. Udochi is a lover of travel, and he noted the countries she had on her bucket list. For two months, he made all the travel arrangements, from the airport pickup to the activities in the itinerary. She had no clue where they were going, all he told her was to put in PTO from December 5 to December 10. On the day of their departure from Dulles Airport, he revealed they were going to Santorini, Greece! As soon as they landed in their villa, they enjoyed the evening at a dinner in Pyrgos Village. During the trip, they enjoyed sightseeing and each other's company. On Sunday, December 8, their driver picked them up and took them to the beautiful village of Oia, Santorini. Mundy scheduled a surprise photoshoot on the clifftops overlooking the vast caldera filled with water. While the photographer snapped away, Mundy got down on one knee and asked for Udochi's hand in marriage. She said YES of course! The two embraced each other and continued the photoshoot with stunning views. They celebrated immediately at the rooftop Skiza Cafe. The pair ended the trip with love and warmth in their heart, and couldn't wait to come home and share the news with family and loved ones.
