Haldi

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Guests are encouraged to wear bright, festive colors, especially yellow, orange, or other warm tones. Indian outfits are absolutely welcome, but not required. If you do not have Indian clothing, western attire is completely fine too. A sundress, skirt and blouse, or a nice shirt with slacks works well. Since Haldi can get a little messy, avoid anything too formal or delicate.

Haldi is a joyful pre-wedding ceremony in Indian weddings where close family and friends apply a turmeric paste to the bride and groom as a blessing for good luck, happiness, and a glowing start to married life. It is a fun, colorful, and relaxed celebration filled with laughter, music, and tradition.

Mehendi

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Guests are encouraged to wear bright, festive colors. Indian outfits are welcome, but not required. If you do not have Indian clothing, western festive attire is completely fine too. Dresses, skirts, colorful tops, or nice shirts and slacks all work well. Since Mehendi is colorful and relaxed, comfortable and cheerful outfits are a great fit.

Mehendi is a joyful pre-wedding celebration where henna is applied to the hands and sometimes feet of the bride and guests. It is a beautiful tradition in Indian weddings that symbolizes joy, beauty, and celebration. The event is usually filled with music, dancing, color, and time spent together with family and friends.

Western attire requested. Cocktail or semi-formal is perfect. Feel free to dress up and have fun with it. This is a photo-friendly event, so wear something that makes you feel great.

Kind of, yes. Not the actual wedding, but definitely wedding energy. This is our western-style celebration to dress up, take beautiful photos, laugh a lot, and enjoy the moment before the main events. Think of it as a stylish pregame to the wedding festivities.

Wedding

Guests are welcome to wear wedding attire in whatever style feels most comfortable to them. Indian attire is warmly encouraged, but absolutely not required. If you would prefer western formal or semi-formal clothing, that is perfectly fine as well. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable, festive, and ready to celebrate.
