It's finally here!

As some of you may know, the couple has known each other since high school. They were both in the same (boring) history class. Allison was a sophomore at the time and Kenneth was a junior. One day in class, Kenneth changed seats and sat at Allison's table (smooth move). From there, they attended several formal dances, graduation, and countless football and basketball games together. Going their separate ways at the end of the 2018 school year, they spent time apart but couldn't seem to stay away. Reconnecting at the beginning of 2020, Kenneth asked Allison to be his girlfriend on a dock at Table Rock Lake looking at the stars. The feeling they both felt in that moment is the same feeling they felt when he proposed.

Towards the beginning of 2023, Kenneth moved into a beautiful home that his father built. Allison was still living in Springfield at the time and was trying to make it possible for her to finish out her last semester of nursing school back at home. Luckily in June, Allison got the confirmation from her school and was able to move back home. On July 1st, we had an amazing day of picking up our pride and joy, Jack, from the trainer after four months. These two important events made us want to have a get-together to show everyone our new home and welcome Jack back home. While Allison believed that she planned this entire party, Kenneth and her father had another idea. In May, they had already planned out the proposal. Our wonderful family and friends attended and made the entire weekend amazing. All of the food turned out great and everyone enjoyed the time together. While everyone had full bellies, Kenneth was excited to show what Jack had learned. In the backyard, Kenneth did several runs with Jack but the last one was the most important. Kenneth had safely secured Allison's ring to Jack's retrieval bumper. He sent Jack out (of course immediately found it because he's the bestest boy ever), Jack brought it back, and Kenneth got down on one knee. Allison ugly cried (for what seemed like three hours) and of course said yes. Jack had no idea what was going on and wondered why his bumper wasn't getting thrown again. Kenneth later told Allison that he didn't even rehearse and had no idea what he ended up saying. Allison also had no idea what he said because she couldn't hear him over her tears. (which is perfect) This is one of the most memorable days our of lives and cannot wait to get married with all of you in attendance!
