We met our freshman year at Packapalooza, the final Welcome Week event at NC State University. We hit it off as friends and then started dating. Throughout college, internships, job interviews, a cross country move, and bringing home our corgi, Charlie, we knew that our relationship was something special.

We decided to move to Seattle, WA after graduating from NC State University in December 2018. With the help of family, we made the cross country road trip in a 15 foot U-Haul that carried the majority of the things we own. Moving to Seattle together was a huge part of our relationship and something that brought us closer together.

To celebrate Leah's birthday, we went on a small road trip throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Throughout the ups (visiting Forks, WA where Twilight takes place) and downs (Leah's car almost breaking down) of the day, we had a blast singing to throwback music and enjoying the beautiful PNW scenery. We ended our trip at Ruby Beach, where Daniel proposed. It was a beautiful day that we will always remember!
