Cue the confetti and casino lights, we’re getting married in Vegas!

Like most millennial couples nowadays we met from a dating app. Not thinking this swipe right would ever lead to us becoming forever partners, we matched and the sparks flew instantly.

I remember getting ready for our first date and feeling extremely nervous. Not sure if he would like me or think im pretty. I would later find out he felt the same way. He pulled up infront of the house in his moms Ford Fusion, (which I didn’t know was his moms at first) and was very impressed. Our first date was very casual. He took me to Kaleidoscope, a pizza place I’d never had before. We bonded over stories of friends and family. He told me about the time him and his friends went camping and they came back into town for Taco Bell because they didn’t bring enough food. After dinner looking for something to do we decided to go see the new Black Panther movie, even though both us had already seen it. We bonded over the love for marvel movies. The night felt too short and I didn’t want it to end, but I was too shy to ask to get ice cream (which has been a staple in our relationship). So he drove me home. As we said our goodbyes, I made sure to mention that we should go out again. He was surprised and relieved that I wanted to go on a second date. And then they lived happily ever after.

We had gone on a trip to Disneyland for my birthday and it was his first time at Disneyland. We had spent most of the day in the park and right before we left to go back to the hotel he took me to the right side of Sleeping Beauty’s castle to get some photos. He had asked some nice girls to take a picture of us and that is when he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I was shocked but I managed to say yes. This was the best birthday present ever.
