We wanted to give all our friends and loved ones some background information about who we are and what brought us together. My name is Heather, I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. Tyson is a Customer Experience Manager. Tyson and I met through a mutual friend in 2019. We went on a few adventures together as friends (e.g. scuba diving, camping, and on a cruise) until Tyson tackled me while we were at a trampoline park and tore my ACL in August 2020. I tease Tyson that he swept me off my feet that night. Tyson checked in with me daily after that. We talked for a couple months before we started dating. After that, he and I dated long distance for almost a year. Luckily, I have been working remotely since March 2020 so it made it easy for us to spend plenty of time together. I had been living in Utah for about a year and Tyson was living in Washington. Tyson started applying to jobs in Arizona (where I have lived my whole life and my current job is located) and he secured a great job in Phoenix, Arizona October 2021. We both moved to Arizona two weeks later. Neither of us have looked back since. We have been on numerous adventures together and our love for one another grows every day (even when I get super stressed trying to plan a wedding). Tyson proposed at the most beautiful lookout in Kauai which overlooked the Waimae Canyon. I couldn't have asked for a better and more loving partner to spend the rest of my life with. We cannot wait to share the next chapter of our lives together!
