As many of you know, Tyson and I have known each other since first grade when we were in Mrs. Hineline’s class together at Bushkill Elementary School. We grew up together, but our junior year things changed when Tyson decided to ask me to our junior year prom. This was only going to happen if he won the Hershey State Wrestling Tournament. Thankfully, he won, and he asked me outside of the arena with a candy bar poster. Thinking back on that time, we often joke that the song "Check Yes or No" reflects our relationship, because as the lyrics go, “Way back in “first” grade, I used to sit beside “Abby Marchese”…. I chased her around the playground, crossed the monkey bars to the merry go round. And “Abby” got caught passing me a note. Before the teacher took it I read what she wrote…. Do you love me, Do you want to be my friend? And if you do, well then don’t be afraid to take me by the hand if you want to. I think this is how love goes, check yes or no.” I grabbed Tyson’s hand and we ran to the limo to go to prom and never looked back. We began dating shortly after prom and it has been a decade of building our love. We survived senior year soccer and wrestling seasons, all of the ups and downs of living in separate towns during college, navigating the start of our careers and now moving into our next adventure as Mr. and Mrs. We continue to enjoy our adventures together, rafting down the Grand Canyon, exploring Yellowstone National Park, and hiking the Appalachian Trail to the place he asked me to marry him. Throughout time we have remained committed to each other, always supporting and caring for one another. It has been awesome to support each other as we reach our accomplishments and grow into who we are today. Whether it is camping or watching football on the couch, quality time with each other, friends, and family is what makes us happy. We are thrilled to celebrate our love with all of you!
