We had been going to the same church for a while, and the first time I saw Leigh, I just knew he was the one for me. But for a long time, he didn’t pay me any attention! It actually took about a year before we started talking. During that time, I just kept praying and waiting. Our pastor even persistently asked Leigh if he was interested in me — and eventually, he was! Once we finally had our first conversation, we couldn’t stop talking. With our pastor’s guidance and support, our relationship continued to grow stronger. Before I knew it, Leigh asked me to be his girlfriend — and a year later, he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
