- The bride to be was strategic in selecting this time to wed as it is definitely not the hottest time of their year. however a solid 75-80 with a breeze is to be expected. Nightfall can bring chillier temps. Please be prepared as wedding and reception are outdoors!

-Sicily can be comparable in seasons and temperatures like that of Georgia/Florida. Very humid, and yes, there are MOSQUITOS!!!! so PLEASE don't forget your sprays, wipes, bracelets or whatever you use to repeal them. The wedding venue will have citronella all through out to help keep that issue at bay.

- although it is not technically summer( which actually is a good thing, Less tourists) there are still awesome beach cities to visit like previously mentioned, Giardini Naxos.

- currency is Euro. There are exchange locations at the airport as well as in the city. However, it is recommended to exchange before arriving at your local banks. Rates fluctuate so its a good thing to monitor ahead of time.

WILD AND FREE AND SITE SEE

- If you want to venture out of Catania to other beautiful regions of Sicily, via train is a great options. Also car rentals are avails at the airport and throughout the city. Also, flights to other neighboring countries are fairly reasonable shall you choose to explore more.

-Downtown Catania is where you would want to be for late night experiences. The city stays alive in the night time.
