Do you guys have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is present enough! If you do wish to give a gift, a monetary contribution for honeymoon and home improvements would be greatly appreciated. A card box will be available at the reception for cash or check, or you can Venmo if you prefer!

Dressy casual/semiformal attire.

Please arrive by 3:30pm.

Will event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony and reception are both indoors. If the weather is nice, guests will have access to outdoor areas.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes the venue is handicap accessible. This includes the parking lot, entryway and bathrooms. There is a drop-off space close to the entrance and the parking lot is a few feet away.

Is there a hotel room block?

We have a limited number of rooms set aside at the Groton Inn. If booking through their website use group code "FONSCH" or "Fontaine-Schmitt Wedding" if reserving over the phone.

When is Groton Inn check-in?

Answer

Please note that while we are requesting guests arrive at the ceremony by 3:30pm, the Groton Inn's room check-in time is not until 4pm. Guests may arrive at the Groton Inn ahead of time to drop off their bags at the front desk. We are offering complementary shuttle service between the Groton Inn and the Barn. To take advantage of the shuttle, please be in the lobby by 3:15pm.

Parking and transportation to and from the venue

Answer

For guests staying at the Groton Inn, we have arranged a shuttle to and from the Barn at Gibbet Hill. The last shuttle departs the Groton Inn at 3:20pm. For guests who are driving themselves, the Barn at Gibbet Hill has a parking lot with plenty of spots.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP-only. Those who have been accommodated a plus one will be listed on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome to the event?

While we love your little ones, ours will be an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
