What events are planned?

We’re celebrating in two ways! First, we’ll host a Minnesota Send-off on April 5, 2025, to gather with all of our friends and family for a joyful send-off before our elopement. This open invitation event will be a wonderful evening to celebrate together. Our small, private elopement will take place later on April 19 in Nashville.

What should I wear?

Dress up with us! For the Minnesota send-off, we encourage you to come looking and feeling your best (please, no jeans). While the event will be casual and relaxed, we’d love for everyone to bring a bit of style to the celebration!

Are kids and plus-ones welcome?
Answer
Absolutely! Kids and plus-ones are welcome at our Minnesota Send-off. If you’d like to bring a guest who isn’t listed on your invitation, feel free and let us know so we can add them to your RSVP—everyone is invited to join the send-off festivities! For our elopement, space is limited, so please check with us if you would like to bring a guest.

Please RSVP through our wedding website at tyandliz.com once invitations are sent. If you’re attending both the Minnesota Send-off and our Nashville elopement, please RSVP for each event.

Where should we stay?
Answer
For the send-off party in Minnesota, we recommend booking accommodations near our event location in Shoreview, MN. We’ll provide nearby hotel and Airbnb recommendations on our website to make your stay comfortable. If you’re traveling to Nashville, East Nashville offers several wonderful options, which we’ll share soon.

Are there any special requests for photos or social media?
Answer
Yes, we’re requesting an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony itself. Feel free to share moments from the rest of the day using our hashtag, #TyAndLiz!
