FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jackie Morse and Tyrus Steinman
Above is a map of the camp to give you a better idea where events will be held and cabin locations if you decide to stay the night!
Question

What should I bring if I want to stay in a cabin?

Answer

Sheets, pillows, blankets, and if you have a portable space heater, you should bring that too! Each cabin has 2 single beds used for counselors (that could be moved together for better snuggling) and 8 single bunk beds used for campers. If you'd like a cabin, please reach out to us via phone, facebook, or our parents to make sure we reserve one for you.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 20th. That will give us enough time to give an accurate headcount to our vendors and ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm, so please plan to arrive for 3:00pm to avoid delays. If you are staying overnight at the camp - feel free to arrive a little earlier to give yourself time to park, bring your things to your cabin, and familiarize yourself with the camp.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, but it is a wedding so semi-formal attire would be appropriate, but please dress to your own comfort level! The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors so plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes, If your invitation indicates your significant other or "Guest", then definitely. Be sure to mark the number attending on your RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes!

Question

More importantly, are dogs allowed?

Answer

YES!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, there will be a line for you to indicate your allergy or diet restrictions on the RSVP card in the invitation packet.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot that is a short walk away from the ceremony site and reception hall (less than 1/4 of a mile). You will be able to drive up to the dining hall area if walking will be an issue. If you're staying at a cabin, there will be space for you to park right next to it rather than the parking lot.
