I was living in Florida and Joshua was in Georgia, but on one weekend he was in Florida at a golf tournament with friends. I had just moved to Florida and did not know anyone so I downloaded Bumble in hopes of finding some people to hang out with. I was scrolling and Josh’s profile came up. Since we’re here today I obviously swiped right and so did he, but we didn’t actually talk for the first time until about a month or so later. I had no intention of messaging him until one night I just slid into his messages with “hi”. From there we talked and talked then Josh came out to Florida to meet me in person. My parents just recently found out that Josh was not a cousin of a friend who set us up, but yet a total stranger I was going to meet that I met on the internet. (They would’ve forbid me from going to meet him). Thankfully, Josh was and is not a sociopath and I’m still here today alive (and happy)! From the moment we met, it just felt like we knew each other since forever. I’m originally from the Chicago area, Josh has family in Chicago. He happened to be in St. Augustine the same weekend I decided to give a dating app a chance. It just seemed like fate. We are so happy to be here today about to celebrate our love with our friends and family. Who would’ve thought a dating app would turn into this? We sure did ❤️
