Once upon a time....Lol Where do I begin? They say you usually find what you’re looking for the moment you stop looking for it, which is exactly what happened with me. I was DONE with relationships at least for the next 30yrs. Heart breaks, disappointments, incompatibility everything, I really didn’t know what I wanted or who I even was. It wasn’t until I stopped looking is when I found the “Love of my Life.” Actually, she was right under my nose I just never looked down. We would always see each other at different events and gatherings but the timing was never right. Until this one particular wedding. This one bonding union that brought more than the married couple together but also brought Her and I together as well. When I first saw her there I thought to myself Hmmmm Look At Tutti. (Little does she know the Bride already told me she would be there). So as the day progressed with the wedding, pictures, food, and reception where the dancing took place we kept eye contact but neither one of us made a move (Too Shy) I guess LOL! It was time to go she walked by with that Red&Black Dress on and I looked to my Now Best Man and said BRUHHH there she is. And from then on there she was coming to my Hall, Family Reunion, meeting Family and Friends. Until one day I got tired of her leaving. So once again after another Wedding we attended together ( not at the wedding, a few days later), I asked her to stay! I asked her to never leave again. I asked her to stay with me forever and Become My Wife. And Here We Are!!

How I got this wonderful man of mines... “Well I had my eyes on him for a while, seen him here and there but as a young person my mind wasn’t in the right place. So about 5yrs ago it was at our beautiful “International Convention” in N.O. Louisiana, me my sister and a friend of ours was observing the beautiful set up and of course all that beautiful Purple decoration, and I was calling my mom and she didn’t answer me so as I turned around I ran right into Tyrone (hit him in the chest) and I’m so short under him I had to look up and I couldn’t say a word at first lol, but I said hey and he said hey and smiled then I told my sister and friend let’s go to restroom lol....then years later I get invited to another friend of mines wedding and as I was walking in to my seat I seen him I bucked my eyes, I was like “oh my” there he go. I was fully single then and over the past by that time and I was like I hope he’s single because he’s about to be mines. Then as we get to the reception my awkward shy self sits in corner didn’t want to dance or nothing because he was there, I looked over at him and soon as I do that he’s looking at me already I’m like oh lord and blushing. Then finally I get up to dance and there he was coming to dance and that’s when I fell in love 😍 because he could dance so good and smooth I had started recording him lol (My stalker tendencies came out lol) so as the night pass on by it was time for me to leave and I didn’t get to say anything to him I was mad at myself. So as I was walking to my car I was like “I GOT TO GET HIM!” Then I lowered my little ego and pride and as we young people say “I slid in his DM” and the rest is history and here we are now about to take this big step and say “I Do” and I can’t wait 😊

“Well I know one thing I was totally SURPRISED” It was the weekend of December 22nd when he had this on his mind and I had no clue, he was pondering over when and what day to do it. We had attended a wedding that Saturday and visited Family that Sunday heading back home. Little did I know his family even his mom knew he was about to pop question lol. So we ended up that Sunday going to a gathering at my friend Courtney’s house (he said I thought about doing it there) but he said nah I’ll wait until she at least expect it lol (which is EXACTLY what happened) So that Monday night {December 25, 2017} He was getting ready to head home he tells me babe I lost my “wallet” (To throw my mind off) and so I went back in the room to look for it and as I was coming out the room BOOM 💥 he was on one knee (I thought he was joking because he is always joking with me) I said stop playing Ty. That’s when I knew he was serious! I BUST out crying tears was just falling I just couldn’t believe it at first, I cried again before he left out of excitement!! *BEST DAY OF MY LIFE* I’m beyond ready to be {Mrs. Thomas}!
