Phillip and Tyrahnique met through a mutual friend where Phillip was determined that Tyrahnique was the one for him. After casual conversation through social media, he finally got her cellphone number where they started off as great friends eventually turning into soulmates.

On Saturday 21st January 2023 Tyrahnique thought she was attending a birthday party for Phillip's sister. She was even asked to assist with preparing a dish! On that night one of her friends came and picked her up and they drove to the location of the party. Upon her arrival as she entered through the gate, she was greeted by persons staring with cameras pointed in her face. She was bewildered asking "What happen?" It wasn't until she began noticing several family members and friends, and as she glanced over, she saw Phillip on one knee holding a ring in his hand. She then realized this was not a birthday party for his sister but an engagement party for her. With joy and chills, Phillip's mother pulls her towards the arches of lights where she walks under to meet Phillip. He then asks, "Will You Marry Me?" and she definitely said "Yes!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you December 23rd!
