HEATHER: My dear friend Rosanna offered to set me up on a blind date early February 2019. I remember going on that first date with Jordan thinking it was obvious from just that brief meeting how thoughtful, humble, kind, compassionate, and godly he was. He demonstrated those qualities further when, a couple days after our first date, I became terribly ill and he brought me groceries and lovely flowers (the first man to do so, other than my dad!). Despite this, I still felt like we ought to "just be friends," and told Jordan this after our second date. However, as the months continued, I could not get Jordan off my mind. Now and then I would see him and think about what an amazing man he was. In May, I asked if he'd be willing to go on a couple more dates, and he gamely agreed, and we haven't been apart since, and I am so thankful! JORDAN: Well, that's her side. I heard about her way earlier from my good friend Andy Reynolds, one of Heather's co-workers. He told me that we should date but wouldn't set us up. Thankfully Andy's professionalism wasn't the end of the story and nearly a year later Rosanna approached me to set us up on a date. On the first date I was blown away by an amazing woman who was thoughtful, funny, beautiful, and kind. Things went brilliantly for a week - dinner, flowers, brunch...until she decided we were better suited to be just friends. I told her that she was wrong (she was) and that I would always be interested, but that I would try to build a friendship if she wanted. I knew that it was a great match, I just hoped she would see it too. I couldn't get her off my mind, so I was thrilled when she gave us a second chance at a relationship. And the rest is history!
