How It Began

A long time ago, on a university campus far, far away from Chicago and Waco, two dreamers crossed paths for the first time. Their passion for the Lord and musical theatre intertwined their hearts in dramatic fashion. Their love bloomed in the time they spent together: doing homework, puzzling, and running through the sprinklers beneath the twinkling starlight. In those moments, they saw their future. From that point on, they continued to dream—one in particular. The strapping young man began to scheme—to store up his treasures for a jewel worthy of her hand. After toiling away in the fields, he finally had enough capital to purchase a ring. He then brought the radiant princess up in a flying machine of the sky, and they became betrothed.

How It’s Going

Answer

Inspired by their parents before them, this young couple strives to pursue each other daily. On hard days where nothing seems to be going right, they encourage and lift each other up, pointing the other toward Jesus and his truths. Outside of the mundane, they embark on adventures across the world, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Currently going into their final year at Belmont University (Song & Dance School), they are enjoying their final year of college and engagement together. They are refining their craft and preparing their hearts and minds for what is to come.

Committed to one another, this pulchritudinous couple strives toward the same goal in life: to glorify the Lord in all they do and say. They seek to love one another and others in the same way that Jesus first loved them, whether that is in performance or ministry. Where will they go from here?
