Tyler and Amanda have been in and out of each other's lives since she was 13 and he was 15. They were friends in high school, and crossed paths several times after. They tried a few times to take their friendship into the realm of dating, and there was chemistry, but the timing always seemed to be off... until January of 2011. At that point they hadn't seen each other in six years. Amanda was supposed to be at a girls night in downtown L.A. but it fell apart. She and a friend decided to grab a last minute drink at a local bar they never frequent. Tyler was to meet a friend in Glendora, but first stopped by a bar in his hometown to celebrate a friend's birthday. The bar of choice was the same. He saw her walk out on the patio. She heard someone call her name. He never left. They closed the place down, and agreed to see each other again that weekend. And they've been together ever since... because the timing was just right.
