Coleman and Tylor’s story began on Narbeck Avenue, when Tylor moved in at just three-and-a-half years old. From their earliest days at Mukilteo Elementary, they were inseparable—riding the bus together, sharing lunches, and laughing through childhood moments like square dancing in class. Their days were filled with simple joys: snow days in the cul-de-sac, summer adventures, sports, and sleepovers. In the nearby woods, they explored freely, never realizing they were also building a bond that would last a lifetime. What started as a loyal friendship slowly grew into something deeper. By high school, that shift was undeniable. They drove to school together, led as captains of their basketball teams, and graduated side by side. Though college took them in different directions—Coleman to Western Washington University and Tylor to Grand Canyon University—life brought them back together when the world slowed during COVID. Back on Narbeck Avenue, everything became clear. Coleman set out to win the heart of the girl who had always been by his side, and what followed felt both natural and inevitable. Their love blossomed quickly and deeply, rooted in years of knowing each other by heart. Choosing adventure together, they spent six months backpacking through Southeast Asia—an experience that sealed what had been growing all along. From childhood friends to soulmates, Coleman and Tylor’s story is proof that the best love stories are the ones that were there from the very beginning.
