I took a part time job at Home Goods in Richardson for the holidays. Matthew is the BRC for homegoods and works in the back room. I always had my nails done and would get a new set every 2 weeks. Matthew would compliment me on my nails and noticed them every time they were different. The first day i met him he saw me at the register and walked over to me and shook my hand. He introduced himself to me and said “I don’t think we have met” And then he was called away to do a carry out. Everyone told me that was the most they had ever heard him say to anyone there because he never talks and is always quiet. After a couple months of him making small talk and complimenting my nails we went on our first date December 1st 2018. Who knew i would find my forever love in the back room of a home goods lol ❤️

Matthew and i had just finished celebrating Mothers Day with our families. That night we got into bed to watch some TV together and he said he wanted to talk. He told me that he loved me very much and even though we had only been dating for almost 6 months he could see himself cuddled next to me watching tv for the rest of his life. He asked me if i would like to be his wife and watch tv with him for the rest of my life. He says “Will you marry me?!” And i looked at him and said “Where’s tha ring?!” He didnt even have the ring with him, he jumped up out of bed and goes to his dresser and pulls it out lol. He gets back in bed and asks again...omg i laughed and clearly i said Yes! Nothing fancy...Just Love.
