Our Love Story

"FINDING YOU WAS LIKE COMING HOME" What started as a chance meeting on Hinge became a love story filled with laughter, adventures, and countless memories. From late-night conversations to many sleep-ins on Sunday morning, Tyler and Zoe built a life filled with love, warmth, and a shared appreciation for the little things in their lives. Their journey took them from sharing favourite colour on their first date to planning a lifetime together. After 606 days of dating, Tyler finally popped the question in the most romantic way possible: "Will you marry me?" and Zoe, of course, said "Yes!" without hesitation. On January 24th 2026, they will be surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, celebrating the next chapter in their love story.

Her Side

We met the modern way — on Hinge! What started as a swipe turned into something unforgettable. Our first date was supposed to be at a different restaurant, but it unexpectedly closed that day. In a pinch, we switched to a nearby sushi spot — and honestly, it turned out to be the perfect Plan B. I still remember how shy we were at first, trying not to look ridiculous while stuffing our faces with sushi. But the moment we started talking, something just clicked. We dove into conversation about our families, our lives, our work, and what we value most. It felt effortless. Neither of us wanted the night to end, so we extended the date for dessert — shaved ice. We kept talking and laughing like we had known each other forever. Then, one night after another amazing date, just as I was about to get out of the car and head inside, Tyler stopped me. He asked if I’d be his girlfriend. I said yes, of course — and then came the world’s most awkward hug, with my arm wedged between us like a barrier. We still laugh about it to this day. As we kept dating, I introduced Tyler — a man of few hobbies — to my endless list of interests: cooking, jigsaw puzzles, K-dramas, true crime documentaries, and even gardening. And to my surprise, he dove right into every single one. Together, we built traditions around our favorite things. We’ve filled our walls with framed puzzles, successfully tested dozens of new recipes, and grown plants that now feel like part of the family. Then, on a dream trip to Japan, Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And now, here we are — so excited to share the next chapter of our lives with all of you.

His Side

If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd meet my future wife online, I would've laughed. We live in the same city, frequent the same Asian grocery stores, and even enjoy many of the same restaurants, yet our paths never crossed until one fateful swipe right on Hinge. It just goes to show, sometimes the universe has a funny way of bringing people together. I remember seeing Zoe for the first time and being completely stunned. Her big, beautiful eyes, radiant face, and graceful presence immediately captivated me. We had already talked for hours on the phone, but in person, our connection deepened. Our first date, though a last-minute change to a sushi spot, was perfect. We spent hours diving into conversations about our life goals, our aspirations for relationships, and everything that truly mattered to us. It felt like we'd known each other forever. From asking her to be my girlfriend to getting down on one knee, every step of our journey has been more incredible than I could have ever imagined. We're both passionate about food and travel, and it's been amazing to discover we have the exact same tastes! We love exploring new restaurants weekly and embarking on adventures, whether it's a new city in the US or an international escape. Now, as we stand on the cusp of this new chapter, I'm beyond excited to build a family with Zoe and create a lifetime of unforgettable memories together.
