FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tyler Bray and Tyler Daniels
Please refer below to find answers to just about any question you could have for the day of the wedding!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is one month in advance of the wedding which is March 8, 2022. After that time we will be giving our official headcount to our wedding vendors, such as the caterer.

Question

What should I do if I can't attend?

Answer

We will miss you greatly! Please let us know as soon as possible and fill out your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

Right here on this website! Just look at the menu for the 'registry' button. We are focusing more on the Honeymoon Funds than we are physical items. I know some guests really enjoy getting couples things like kitchenware or home decor, but our Honeymoon trip is what we are most focused on so we don't have to worry so much about the financials of it and can enjoy even more travel activities.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We suggest using google maps, as it is most reliable. The GPS will take you there without issue and there will be amble signage on-site to ensure you are going the right way towards the event. The venue will have a large sign at the entrance and a visible pond and vineyard upon entering. We do suggest pre-downloading the directions or printing them out just in case you loose cell phone coverage as the venue is in the mountains of Charlottesville, VA.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue offers free parking at their on-site parking lot directly beside the main house, ceremony, and reception space. Just a short walk away in case you forget anything, want to grab your jacket, or want to put those heels up for the night.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting our guests dress formal or semi-formal attire such as dark suits, cocktail dresses, or evening dresses. Please avoid bright spring colors. Focus on softer pastels, mute tones, or dark tones to better match the theme of the event. No shame in kicking off those heels either, just make sure you are prepared for cooler weather just in case!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids-we do, but this is a date night on us! So leave the kids at home on this one :) Outside of the Bride and Groom's siblings, this will essentially be a 21+ adult event so please make sure you are setting up your babysitter (and a backup) well in advance.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP says, "and Guest", then yes. Otherwise we are just looking to see you!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The full wedding will take place outdoors at the venue address. The ceremony will be held outside and uncovered, unless it rains enough that a change to the tent is necessary. The reception space is also outside but under a temperature controlled spacious tent. The bathrooms will be located in the main house on-site close-by both the ceremony and reception location.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since it is early April in Virginia, I would suggest guests prepare for cool weather and potential rain by bringing an umbrella and jacket.

Question

Will the ceremony be 'Unplugged'?

Answer

Yes!!! Our ceremony will be 'unplugged' meaning that everyone's devices will be silenced and turned off completely. NO ONES PHONES SHOULD BE ON. NO PICTURES. There will be signage reminders at the entrance of the ceremony space as well as an announcement from our officiant as well so there should be no reason to forget. We want absolutely no distractions during our exchanging of vows.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar starting at cocktail hour directly after the ceremony and will be open until the end of the reception. We will have Keswick Vineyards red and white wine available along with Tito's vodka, Aviation Gin, Crown Royal, and Jack Daniels with all appropriate mixers and garnishes.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Directly after the ceremony, the bridal party and bride and groom will take their formal portraits. For the guests, you will make your way to the reception space. Here is where Cocktail Hour will start for guests. This means the bar is open, appetizers will be going around, music in the air, and light activities will be available to keep you busy.

Question

Can we post pictures on social media?

Answer

Yes! Please feel free to post any images from the night (beside the ceremony time) on social media, just make sure we don't look half bad ;) Please use the #TylerSquaredWedding hashtag in your post so we can find them later!

Question

What About the Food?

Answer

Come hungry! There will be passed appetizers and a large dinner being served after the ceremony. Please remember to let us know on your RSVP of ANY allergies or food you cannot have ASAP. Our caterer will provide an optional meal for you.
