Making forts in closets and singing the DK64 rap on chair lifts while skiing as kids has turned into an adult friendship full of virtual boardgames, a shared love of dogs (especially Goldens), and still knowing all the words to the Courage the Cowardly Dog theme.

A chance meeting our first year at UIUC in the MatSE department has lead to a friendship bound by Pacific Rim, cooking, twizzlers, and Stardew. It has only grown, despite living scattered across the US and one or both of us in a PhD program.

After meeting by chance after living across the hall in Bryan Hall freshman year at MSU, Kait and Kaitlin became friends (and not just because they spell their name the same way!). Fast forward over a decade, their friendship has grown over multiple moves and new hobbies including exploring the Smoky Mountains together this past summer.
