Vico Equense is a quiet, breathtaking coastal town that was once used as a resort area for Romans. It's nestled on the slopes of Monte Sant Angelo, overlooking the shimmering Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Naples. Among ancient olive groves and lemon trees, it's where much of the Campania's region of limoncello is produced. Although Vico Equense is quiet, it's just 6 miles east of Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.
