Or venue as well as both hotels that we have room blocks at (the Mariott and Hilton) sit on Ellis Preserve, which has a lot of places to eat and shop!
The Mariott and Hilton both have full bars that serve food. There is also a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse attached to the Mariott.
Restaurants that we've tried (and enjoyed!) in Newtown Square, PA:
LaScala's Fire, Sedona Taphouse and Brewery, Teca Newtown Square, Spread Bagelry, Turning Point, and First Watch.
If you wanted to branch outside of Newtown Square, some nearby towns include:
Media, PA: We walked up and down the streets here, shopped around, and ate & drank at some of the breweries. It's a really cute town!
West Chester, PA: We haven't been here yet, but we hear it's a cute town with good food!
