Tyler & Ashley Wedding Ceremony

We met at our home church, Hillcrest Baptist Church, and happened to be going to the same college, Wingate University. I knew I wanted to marry him the first time I saw him! It took some convincing, but I (Ashley) asked him on our first date to Starbucks in December of 2017. We kept talking for a few months and officially began dating on April 14th, 2018.

How We Met

Tyler proposed on Christmas morning 2021! One of my presents was a box with a candle inside. The candle wax had been completely burned out and inside was an empty ring box with a note that said "looking for something?" When I turned around, he was down on one knee and I said yes!
