Flight

Leonardo da Vinci–Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

The Leonardo da Vinci-Rome Fiumicino Airport is the closest international airport to the Villa. Our check in time is 3pm on Saturday, June 28th at the Villa. We will likely be flying out the evening of June 27th from the United States and landing in Rome the morning of June 28th, but feel free to book whatever flight works best for you. There will be no formal event at the Villa the night of the 28th to give people flexibility with travel arrangements. Don’t forget your neck pillow!

Transfer Service from Airport to Villa

Our Villa has a transfer service that will be able to help coordinate a ride from the airport to the Villa for us. They mentioned if groups are arriving at similar times we may be able to bring multiple people at once. Please keep us updated on your flight arrangements so we can help coordinate transfers! It is about an hour ride from the airport to the Villa.

Train

Airport to Rome Trastevere Station | Rome Trastevere Station to Manziana-canale Monterano

If the transfer service won’t work out, you can take a train to Manziana! From Leonardo da Vinci Airport you will take a train to Rome Trastevere Station in Rome. Then, you will change trains and get on one heading toward Viterbo and get off on the Manziana-canale Monterano stop. You will only be a few 100 meters from the Villa at that point. Your choice to either walk the rest of the way or get a taxi/Uber (the roads are a little windy/hilly).

This is where the majority of us will be staying! We are limited by number of beds in the main Villa, but for those that aren’t staying here, there are apartments owned by the same company nearby that you can stay at (more on that below). This is also where all events for our wedding will take place. We will communicate with you all ahead of time on who is staying where! Apartment Information: If you are told you’ll be staying in the apartments, we need you to email Letizia (our Villa coordinator) at info@villaclodia.com to reserve your apartment. Mention you are part of our wedding and they will take care of you. You will still check in at the main Villa when you arrive, and they will organize transportation to the apartments (they are not far away at all!).
