We went here for our first date and then came back to get engaged! Great place to go for a day hike or to putter around the townsite and the closer little hikes. You can also take the boat across the lake into Glacier National Park and back.

Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada

West of Nanton at the end of HWY 533. Where the foothills meet the mountains. You can fish in the lake.

The Bar U Ranch is a national historic site, during its prime operating years it was one of the leading ranching operations in Canada. You can drive to the Bar U on the Cowboy Trail (Hwy 22) which is a wonderful thing to do on its own.
