Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Reception will be held in the Chesapeake Ballroom.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a nearby hotel?

Answer

Yes. Please refer to the "travel" portion of our website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - formal attire. For men: A dark suit and tie or a tuxedo. Dress shoes are expected. For women: A long dress, a formal cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Heels or elegant flats are appropriate.

Can children attend?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have elected for no children aside from our Wyatt and Tylers nephew Alvey. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes. There will be shuttles for guests from both the Rod’N’Reel Resort and the Inn at Herrington Harbour to the ceremony and reception.

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat ahead of time and be ready to start the celebrations on time!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would appreciate if all phones would remain put away for the duration of our ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture the special moment for us, so please allow them to do their work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

North Beach, MD during early fall is typically mid 50’s to upper 60’s. Our wedding is located on the water, so there is a good chance it will be breezy as well.
