We've spent a lot of time working to make this an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited, when you go to the RSVP tab of this website; your name and your guests will be clearly listed. If your invitation says "+1" or includes another's name, or they are listed when you RSVP, then yes we would love for them to join us!
While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only celebration (with the exception of children in the wedding party). We hope you enjoy your weekend and have a great night out!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm; we highly recommend arriving 30 minutes before to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in. Please note while we understand things don't always go as planned, we have spent a lot of time planning this day and once the processional starts; you cannot join the ceremony. We do apologize but we'll see you at the reception!
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date we provided (June 28th, 2026) it will automatically be marked as "not attending". We will miss you, but it's very important that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the timeframe they have given us. Thank you for understanding! If you are unable to attend, we will miss you! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
We have two hotel blocks at Shaded Crest and Grafton Lodge under Alexander Wedding. Be sure to book before the date listed under each hotel on the travel tab to book under our blocks. Check out the travel tab for more information and direct links. In addition to our hotel blocks, there are many Airbnb's in the area as well as some boutique hotels and cabin parks. Please book quickly as it is peak season and there are multiple large scale equestrian events in town throughout the month.
Our dress code is "semi-formal". Women are recommended to wear dresses, skirts and blouses or a pantsuit. Men are recommended to wear slacks or nice fitted jeans with a dress shirt; ties, vests, and jackets are optional. The ceremony will be on grass, please keep in mind when picking shoes, we do not recommend stilettos. It will be July in North Carolina, so it will be pretty warm, please keep that in mind and dress accordingly. Expected temperatures are 80 and upwards during the day and roughly 70 at night. Mill Spring, North Carolina is the location, feel free to check weather as we get closer.
The ceremony (weather permitting) will be outdoors, and the reception indoors but open to the outside; think pavilion style. We will have fans but please dress accordingly.
We kindly ask that you put all phones and cameras away during the ceremony and just be in the moment with us. Please do not record, take pictures or use any live during our ceremony. We have a professional photography team to capture the moment for us, so the rest of us can simply enjoy. After the ceremony, yes, definitely feel free to take photos and videos during the reception!
