FAQs

Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony + reception is "Black Tie Optional". Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The ceremony will take place outdoors with some walking on grass, so we recommend comfortable footwear.

Question

What Are The Accommodations?

Answer

We have chosen Linekin Bay Resort as our venue because they are able to provide accommodations exclusively for nearly all of our wedding guests. It is our hope for everyone to stay on-property and spend some quality leisure time together for the wedding weekend!

Question

Do We Need To Book Our Room?

Answer

There is no need to worry about booking your room, as we will be working with our venue to book and assign rooms for all guests. Linekin Bay Resort provides a variety of newly renovated accommodations ranging from individual cabins, multi-room cabins, and traditional hotel rooms. After our RSVP date is met and head-counts are confirmed, Linekin Bay Resort will email you your accommodation information for your review, as well as a deposit request. If for any reason there are questions, concerns, or special considerations needed, please reach out to us so we can ensure everyone is happily accommodated.

Question

What If We Want To Come Early Or Stay Later?

Answer

Our hope is many people choose to take the opportunity to extend their time in Maine and turn it into a getaway! If you plan to come earlier than Friday, August 14th or stay later than Sunday, August 16th and would like to stay on-property, please reach out to Linekin Bay Resort directly to coordinate room-extensions. Otherwise, you are free to stay elsewhere before or after the wedding weekend events.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly request that the ceremony and reception be adults-only celebrations. If this is not possible for you, please reach out to us and we can help coordinate babysitting services at Linekin Bay Resort for those events.
