We are so excited to celebrate with you in Grand County, a place that is very special to us. We spend a lot of time here skiing and enjoying time in the mountains. The AA Barn is located down a dirt road, so please drive carefully and allow for additional drive time. AWD is not required. This is a primitive site - There is no running water and a pit toilet. Please plan accordingly. This event will be entirely outdoors with no air-conditioned indoor space. Plan for a warm day and chilly evening. The event will be hosted in the barn if there is precipitation. Mountain weather can change quickly, so consider bringing layers! The ground is uneven dirt and grass, so we recommend comfortable and safe footwear. For those unfamiliar with the dry weather and elevation, it is very important to STAY HYDRATED! We will have plenty of water available. We encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle, but will also have cups available.

Mountain Formal - Dresses/Jumpsuits, Dress Shirts with Slacks, Jackets Optional, Comfortable Shoes are encouraged due to uneven terrain!

Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate guests listed on your invitation.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Downtown Grand Lake has a number of hotel options, but they are a bit further from the venue. We recommend looking for Airbnbs closer to the venue to make transportation easier. Many rentals in the area are larger homes, so sharing with friends and other guests is encouraged! If you are interested in sharing a rental and need help coordinating, feel free to reach out. We are happy to help connect guests!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the venue. Rideshare services like Uber/Lyft can be limited in the Grand Lake area, so we recommend planning ahead and carpooling with a designated driver.

Why are there no gifts on your registry?

Answer

Because we’re between homes, we’ve chosen to create a registry of experiences and future plans instead of traditional gifts. Your presence at our wedding means everything to us—if you’d like to contribute, the funds listed on the Registry Page will help us build our next chapter and celebrate our honeymoon in Thailand & Cambodia. The cash funds are set up for Venmo to avoid fees. If you do not have a Venmo account and would like to contribute, please feel free to bring a check, or reach out to us—we’re happy to help make it easy.
