What events are happening over the weekend?

Friday Night Welcome Party: Join us at 7 pm for drinks and light bites at Throw Social Del Ray as we kick off our wedding weekend! Saturday Wedding/Reception: Ceremony starts promptly at 6 pm on the beach at the Seagate Beach Club (1 mile south from the Seagate Hotel, valet only, shuttle available from hotel). The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and reception. Sunday Brunch: Back to Throw Social from 11:00-1:00pm.

Since it’s a destination wedding, we skipped the extra step and sent invitations early—more time for you to check the website, book travel, and get excited! Can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉✈️

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll be able to join us for a kid-free weekend of fun and festivities! For those who may need a babysitter, we recommend the following two that are familiar with Seagate. Little Angels 561.684.6361 or Boca Nannies 561-702-9431, they have a minimum 3-4 hour, and will need parking paid, you can also check with this company out of south Florida: https://thebabysittingcompany.com/

What’s the best airport to fly into?

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) – ~40-minute drive to Delray Beach Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) – ~25-minute drive to Delray Beach

Do we need a rental car?

Where should we stay?

We have a room block at The Seagate Hotel, but there are other great hotel options in the area if you prefer. To reserve a room under the room block at The Seagate Hotel, please call them directly and mention the Pettiette/Starkman.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding will be at The Seagate Beach Club in Delray Beach, FL. The ceremony will be on the beach, followed by cocktail hour on the pool deck and a reception at the club.

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

There will be a trolley and free shuttle available to transport guests from the Seagate Hotel to the Seagate Beach Club. You will find the shuttle outside of the main entrance at the Seagate Hotel. The Beach Club is also just a short walk from The Seagate Hotel, so you can easily stroll over if you prefer. Shuttles with start promptly at 5:00 pm. They will run every five minutes until 5:45 pm. An additional shuttle will be running every ten minutes from the Hampton Inn.

Is there beach access?

Answer

Yes! If you’re staying as a guest at The Seagate Hotel, you get free access to their pool and beachfront location at The Seagate Beach Club. Enjoy refreshing drinks and beachside cocktails with poolside and beachside cocktail service, making it easy to relax without missing a moment of sun. It’s the perfect spot to unwind before or after the wedding festivities!
