Rachel and Tyler's first date was on the eve of the first Royal Wedding in April of 2011. Together they sat at Tyler's house talking and playing with Jax, back when he was just a pup. The two stayed at Tyler's until Rachel determined that she needed get home to watch the Royal Wedding live at 2am. It being 1am already, Jax was not about to let Rachel walk home alone and got Tyler to walk Rachel back to the dorms with him. It was on this walk that the couple knew there was something special between the two of them, they started dating a few weeks later. Fast forward 8 years and Tyler is starting to plan the proposal when he is struck by an idea. Surprise Rachel at Westminster Abbey, the home of the Royal Wedding, while she is in London on business. With the help of some wonderful friends and a few white lies, Tyler was able to travel to Seattle and ask the Klineman's for permission and then arrive in London all while Rachel believed Tyler was at work or home in NYC. After a few delays in getting Rachel to the Abbey (she lost her wallet on the way!) the surprise went better than expected in a private courtyard at Westminster followed by a blessing from the Chaplain. Bringing it full circle the couple will now be getting married in the Costwald's just outside of London.
