Answer

Since the venue is a federal building, there will be standard security protocols in place. All guests are required to enter through metal detectors and small bags will be inspected, similar to a museum or concert venue. You may arrive as early as 4:00 PM, with the ceremony to begin at 4:30 PM.

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail attire. For women, we recommend knee- or tea-length dresses. For men, a suit and tie is appropriate. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will take place in the plaza outside the venue, which has cobblestone paving. October temperatures in the D.C. area are typically in the mid-60s during the day, so we recommend bringing a light layer and wearing shoes comfortable for uneven ground.
