Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code, nice Sunday dress would be most appropriate to help us celebrate our big day !

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Columbia, Kentucky weather this time of year is typically chilly and dry. Plan for it to be cold, so a sweater or a decent coat will do for outside exposure.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony is taking place in the Begley Chapel on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College and the reception is taking place in the Sumner Worship building on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Both buildings are within a stones throw of one another.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

One the ceremony is complete the guests and friends of the bride and groom will be invited to the reception hall where a meal will be served. Once the wedding party finishes taking pictures with family they will arrive at the reception hall to receive friends and family to congratulate them on their new marriage.

What should I do if i am unable to attend?

Answer

If you cannot make it to the ceremony, reach out to us by writing or calling them and expressing your deepest regret of being absent on our big day! We would love to hear from you! If you have gifts and are unable to attend, please send them to the return address on the invitation.

What are directions to the venue the ceremony will be performed at?

Answer

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is slated to begin at 4 PM CST, arrival would be suggested to be from 3:15-3:30 PM CST.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is free on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College and classes will not be in session so there will be plenty of open parking spots. Handicap locations are located within a short walking distance to the ceremony and reception sites.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you desire to bring a guest/date to the ceremony, it is recommended that you make every effort to include this number of guests on the RSVP (included with the invitation). Space may be limited and the more people we know are coming, the more we can plan for.

DO you have hotel rooms blocked for each guest wishing to have travel accommodations?

Answer

Yes, there will be rooms available by mentioning the Cook Wedding at locations listed on the website under lodging/hotel.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do i need to mail back my RSVP or can I complete it online?

Answer

You must mail back your RSVP responses by the 1st of December.

Are the Ceremony and Receptions locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

All locations are handicap and wheel chair accessible.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Tyler and Miranda are registered at the following locations: Wal-Mart Bed Bath and Beyond Target

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that all cell phones and digital devices be powered off upon entering the ceremony site. We ask that you join us in witnessing this event live and in person rather than behind a phone screen. We have hired a photographer to capture our special moments and at a later date we will share these moments with our family, friends and honored guests.
