Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mikaela McLeod and Tyler Ramos
We are so excited to share some of our favorite things to do in this area with you!

Wedding Venue

810 Olowalu Village Rd, Olowalu, HI 96761

Hana Highway

Hana Highway, Hana, HI

To find excellent views of Maui's beautiful coastline, all you need to do is drive. The Road to Hana is a scenic highway (Highway 360) that twists through the lush rainforest and past the cascading waterfalls that line the island's eastern shore. Most people start their trip in Kahului (home to Maui's main airport) with the intention of motoring 55 miles to Hana. Disclaimer: you need to do some research before hand to know where to stop, consider the "Hawaii Unveiled" app in the Apple Store for mile by mile walkthrough.

Kaanapali Beach

Kaanapali, HI 96761

Once named America’s Best Beach! One of Kaanapali Beach’s most famous attractions is the daily cliff diving ceremony off the beach’s northernmost cliffs known as Puu Kekaa, or Black Rock. The waters here are shallow, making them good for snorkeling.

Maui Brewing Company

605 Lipoa Parkway, Kihei, HI 96753

Because beer.

Old Lahaina Luau

1251 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 667-1998

Going to Maui and going to a luau are basically synonymous. While some of them can be touristy, one of the Island’s best is the traditionally focused Old Lahina Luau.

The Seven Sacred Pools

Mile Marker: #42* (Hana Hwy aka Hwy 31), Hana, HI 96713

Nicknamed the seven sacred pools, the pools of Oheo’o is the waterfall swimming experience of your dreams. A cascading series of waterfalls and pools surrounded by lush rainforest that leads out into the ocean on Maui’s south-east coast, the pools have long been considered one of the wonders of the world.

Kihei Cove

South Kihei Road, Kihei, HI 96753

One of the best places to learn how to surf in Maui, you're welcome.

Waiʻanapanapa State Park Black Sand Beach

Waianapanapa State Park, Hana, HI 96713

Maui has a few different black sand beaches on its shores, but the one to head to is at Waiʻanapanapa State Park off Hana Highway. Located at mile marker 32, you can spend your entire day at this black sand beach exploring tide pools, lava tubes, blow holes and even a few caves.

Olivine Pools

Kahekili Highway, Lahaina, HI 96761

The most epic spot to check out the massive north shore swells.

Jaws aka Pe’ahi Beach

Kuau Beach Pl, Paia, HI 96779

The biggest wave surfed in the world each year has been at Pe’ahi more than any other place.

Flatbread Company

89 Hana Highway, Paia, HI 96779
, (808) 579-8989

Located in the cutest little beach town with the best pizza on the island, must try!

Haleakala Crater

HI 96790

Haleakala National Park is the home of Maui’s highest peak, and the world’s largest dormant volcano, Haleakala. Try for a sunrise hike for unforgettable views, but don't forget to make a reservation before!

Hookipa Beach

HI 96708

Best place to spot local windsurfers, sea turtles, and finish off with an amazing dinner at Mama's Fish House (one of the best rated restaurants on the island).

Leilani's on the Beach

2435 Kaanapali Parkway, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 661-4495

This is where the snorkel cruise will set off from! Also great for a dinner and a sunset :)
