No, New York City recently removed the vaccine requirement for events and indoor dining. However, please keep in mind masks are still required on Subway, in Ubers, at Broadway shows, and every individual business is able to determine their own mask requirement. You should plan to have a mask on you at all times while in NYC. It's possible but unlikely that NYC requirements may change in the coming weeks and we will post any changes here. Thank you for your patience navigating this with us.
Women: Formal floor length gown Men: Tuxedos, bow tie or regular tie, plain-toe black shoes -- Please ask us if you have any questions, or are unsure - we want you to feel your best!
Casual! Wear whatever you are most comfortable with. Anything from sneakers, jeans, and t-shirt, to more dressed-up.
Yes, we love NYC, and want our guests to take full advantage of their time here to see any sights, attend events, or go to evening shows or dinners. You may stop by anytime between 4-7 PM to enjoy Bohemian Bar's delicious food and drinks compliments of the Quinlans!
Yes- you can change your shoes - or also change entirely into something casual and comfortable. If you are staying at the hotel - one option would be to bring a change of shoes and leave them on the bus. We will have the same bus taking you from the hotel to the wedding, and then from the wedding to the after party. We will also have buses taking guests from the wedding back to the hotel, if you wish to get changed there. You can then take the quick 13 minute walk to Superfine or an even quicker Uber ride.
We will have a shuttle running between the hotel and the after party from 12:15 AM to 2:15 AM every ~25 minutes. For those of us staying later or wanting to leave at your convenience - it's a less than 10 minute Uber ride! Superfine to the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott Hotel is a 13 minute walk, all New Yorkers would be fine and feel safe with this in groups.
We will have shuttles from the hotel to the wedding. Please check the wedding schedule for the final timing. There is a brief and lovely 5 minute stroll through the park from where the bus drops you off to get to the Boathouse. While it is pretty straightforward, there will be guides stationed in the park to help you find your way.
The Uber can drop you off at the corner of Ocean Ave & Lincoln Rd. From there you will walk to enter the Park at E Lake Drive, and look for the Park Wayfinders positioned to direct you on your 5 minute stroll through the park to get to the Boathouse.
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.
We recommend driving to the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, and parking there to take the shuttle with the guests.
Weather permitting, both! We hope to take advantage of the outdoor space throughout the evening, and recommend having a light layer especially if it ends up a cooler spring day (could be anywhere from 50-65 degrees). We expect that drinks and dancing should keep everyone warm! There will be a coatcheck available as well.
Yes. We encourage you to come, even if it's just for the late night food before getting to bed!
We've requested early check-in, of 3 pm for all guests, and asked for earlier - 2 pm check-in for as many rooms as possible. You may call the hotel directly if you expect to arrive much earlier than 2 pm on Friday to see if it is possible for your room.
