The best airport to fly into is the Raleigh-Durham Airport in Northwest Raleigh. Downtown Raleigh is about a 20 minute drive from RDU.

Raleigh's train station is located directly in downtown so feel free to skip the planes or cars and kick back on the Amtrak to Raleigh Union Station.

Parking at The Oaks at Salem for Ceremony and Reception

Valet parking will be available at the wedding venue. If you choose to drive, we kindly request you ensure that you have a designated driver to return you to your home safely following the ceremony and reception. Vehicles are not permitted to be left overnight at the venue.

Uber & Lyft from Reception

Apex, North Carolina is a small town in the Southwest suburbs of Raleigh. It may be difficult finding a last minute Uber or Lyft from The Oaks at Salem following the reception. We want all our guests to take full advantage of the open bar so we recommend that you schedule an Uber or Lyft in advance.

The Longleaf Hotel is a quick 20 minute drive or Uber/Lyft ride to our wedding venue. It is conveniently located within walking distance of most eateries and bars in the downtown area. There is an onsite lounge and patio area offering delicious cocktails, light snacks and coffee. Each guest room is considered pet-friendly, though there is a flat $50 pet fee for anyone who chooses to bring along their pup. Room block is available one month prior to event.
