What is the Welcome Gathering on Friday?

Answer

Friday night we invite wedding guests to kick off our wedding weekend at the Welcome Gathering. Everyone has traveled to Atlanta and we want to spend as much time celebrating with you as we can! This is a casual event with light bites, fun, and fellowship.

Where should I park for Friday's Welcome Gathering?

Answer

The rental space is in a neighborhood with no immediate parking. There is neighborhood street parking that is a walking distance of 3+ minutes away. You can park on E Pharr Road as well as Hosea Williams Drive (parallel to the rental space). However, for ease we strongly suggest you Uber/Lyft.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

This will be a formal celebration. Suits, tuxes, evening gowns, or cocktail dresses are all welcome. Come polished, stylish, and ready to celebrate.

Should I wear a certain color to the wedding?

Answer

Guests are not required to wear a certain color. However, formal attire is requested.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events will take place indoors at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse.

Where should I park for the wedding?

Answer

There’s street parking near the venue, but for convenience, we recommend the following public parking decks: 1. DeKalb County Courthouse Parking Deck 125 W Trinity Pl — $6 rate 2. One West Court Square Parking Deck 158 W Ponce de Leon Ave — $10 for 24 hours Special Wedding Rate: $8 with Validation Code Be sure to pick up your parking validation code at the reception or before leaving the wedding festivities to receive the discounted rate. Without the code, the full rate will apply. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is also a great option if you prefer to skip parking altogether.

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements so you can enjoy a night out with us!
