FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tyler Wipfli and Matthew Bell
Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but due to venue limitations, we are only able to include children participating in the wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 4:00 PM to allow time to settle in, freshen up, and enjoy the view before we begin. To make the most of the Kona sunset, the ceremony will begin on time.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors overlooking the ocean.

Question

Will it be hot?

Answer

Kona will be warm and sunny during the ceremony, with cooler ocean breezes arriving after sunset. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a light layer for the evening are all recommended.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The transition from ceremony to reception is wonderfully simple: just a few steps from the beach to the lanai. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be waiting as the sun dips toward the Pacific. Mingle, exhale, and soak in golden hour before dinner begins.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Feel free to snap away during cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is very limited. We highly encourage carpooling or using Uber or Lyft whenever possible.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you plan to explore the island during your stay, absolutely. If you’re mainly staying nearby for the wedding festivities, ride-shares are readily available in the Kona area.
