We met in 2024 in the most modern way—through a dating app—bonding almost immediately over our shared love for dogs. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into something much more, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we had found something special. As we spent more time together, we fell into a rhythm that just felt right. Marina started joining Tyler on his favorite outdoor adventures—camping, snowboarding, and mountain biking—and along the way, those moments became some of our favorite memories. At the same time, Tyler made the effort to step into Marina’s world too. He even learned Japanese and traveled with Marina to her hometown of Nagoya to meet her family, which meant more to her than words can say. In 2025, during a camping trip to Half Moon Bay, Tyler planned a moment they’ll never forget. Surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the coast, he asked her to marry him—and of course, she said yes. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. We can’t wait for a lifetime filled with adventure, laughter, and plenty of time outdoors (with our dog, Milo, of course).
