Our Story
July 2021
Mallory and Tyler meet for the first time for a walk on the Erie Canal. The two immediately mesh, quickly becoming inseparable, and soon after their first date, they begin to attend one another's weekly family dinners.
August 2021
Tyler visits the Buzyniski household with a bouquet of flowers and a “T” inital necklace in hand, asking Mallory to officially be his girlfriend.
May 2023
After many months of searching and saving, Mallory and Tyler excitedly move into their first house in Lockport. The two spend countless hours installing new floors, painting walls, decorating the interior, and landscaping their lawn.
February 2024
Ovi Gene, a golden doodle, is gifted to Tyler by Mallory for his 30th birthday and affectionately welcomed into their home. Originally expected to grow to be 45 pounds, Ovi becomes a 75-pound snuggly sweetheart, showing nothing but love for everyone and every animal, including his big brother, Tucker.
July 2024
Exactly three years after meeting, Mallory and Tyler are both unknowingly planning to surprise each other one Saturday evening. Mallory had planned a rescheduled surprise party for Tyler’s belated birthday, while Tyler had planned to propose to Mallory at the county golf course. As they reach the eight hole of their golf round, Mallory takes her turn to swing. When she turns around, Tyler is on one knee asking her to spend their lives together. Their families are waiting in the club house to celebrate with them, and they later arrive at Tyler’s surprise party as an engaged couple!
