Like many modern love stories, ours started on Hinge—just a simple match that quickly turned into something more. Tyler made the first move… not with a typical pickup line, but by offering to make chicken parm. Bold, specific, and honestly very effective. For our first date, we skipped the usual small talk and went to a brewery to watch an Philadelphia Eagles game. What was supposed to be a laid-back date somehow turned into an entire day together. Between the game, the drinks, and the kind of conversation that makes time fly, neither of us really wanted it to end. Somewhere in the middle of it all, it became clear—this wasn’t just another first date. From one swipe, to a chicken parm promise, to a brewery date that lasted all day… that was the beginning of us. By the end of 2025, we took one of our biggest steps yet and moved to North Carolina together—starting a new chapter side by side, building a life (and a home) of our own. In March 2026, in our very first apartment—surrounded by the life we’ve built together and our two cats—Tyler asked, and of course, the answer was yes. And now, we can’t wait for everything that comes next.
