Question

Is this going to be an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Hopefully both! If the weather cooperates, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, and the reception will be inside. In the event of inclement weather, everything will be inside. Regardless, all events are taking place at Ann Arbor City Club.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking that guests dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Dresses, suits, slacks, etc. Really anything other than jeans and t-shirts!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Even if your invite didn't specify children, they are still welcome to come - just please let us know on your RVSP. We hope everyone stays as late as they can (we'll have late night snacks, don't worry) so if it is helpful to leave the kids with a sitter, please consider that.

Is there a hotel block? What about transportation?

Answer

Yes and yes! Click on the travel tab to learn more. We have a block at the nearby Hampton as well as a shuttle that will be running back and forth both before the ceremony and toward the end of the reception. However, if you choose to drive to the venue, there is plenty of parking on site.

What are we eating/drinking?

Answer

Dinner will be provided by our venue, Ann Arbor City Club. The dinner menu is TBD, but there will be a variety of options available, including vegetarian/vegan, gluten free, and food for the kids. There will also be a late night snack for those who stick around! There will also be an open bar available with beer, wine, seltzer/cider, cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options as well.
