In short: social distancing, hand sanitizer, and facial masks. Please read below for further detail.
Yes - Currently in the city of Cleveland, facial coverings are required indoors, except for officiants of a religious ceremony (refer to city and state orders for other exceptions). Out of respect, we ask that all guests follow this rule. We will provide individually-wrapped disposable masks at the front entrance to the church for anyone who may need one. Please also feel free to wear your own masks. Masks are also required in outdoor public spaces when distancing of at least 6 feet is not possible. As the city and state mandates evolve, we will do our best to keep guests informed.
Yes - We will provide hand sanitizer at the front entrance of the church for guests to use.
We ask that all guests enter through the main doors at the front of the church and sit every other row, as indicated by the pew markers (i.e. sit in a pew with a ribbon on it). We also ask that guests self-distance between parties by leaving ample space between each group of guests. There is plenty of space in the church, so this should be no problem! As an added precaution, we are reserving the side entrance to the church and several rows of seating for our elderly grandmothers so that they may enjoy the ceremony with reduced risk of exposure to others.
