In January 2012, our story began in the setting of an Environmental Science class. What started as a friendship evolved into something more profound over the years. Tyler was living in Florida and so happened to be visitng Lancaster in January 2018. After 2 years of not seeing eachother and losing touch we reconnected that weekend on our first date. We spent the evening filled with laughter at a comedy show, setting the stage for a romantic journey ahead. For our second date in February 2018, we decided to embrace in a bit of spontaneity and risk. Both of us took a leap of faith and flew to St. Louis for a long weekend. It was during that weekend that we realized the time for waiting was over. Despite the distance and years of seperate paths that initially separated us, our connection endured. Over the course of five years, our relationship flourished and on January 27th, 2023, Tyler took Leslie by surprise and proposed. As we look forward to the future, we carry with us the laughter of that first comedy show, the thrill of spontaneous trips, and the commitment that has been the foundation of our love story. Here's to the adventures that brought us together and the ones that await us in the years to come.
