We met online (DateMySchool.com) through a website meant for connecting students and alumni with @edu email addresses. It was a lovely concept that allowed you to meet with students from other schools, talk about educational topics, and apparently find love....you never expect it to work, right?! After a few back and forth exchanges on the topic of water conservation, we decided to get down to the nitty gritty: whose family would we like more, what would be our favorite topics to argue about regularly, and who is funnier. Three weeks of online conversation turned into five beautiful years that we have cherished every moment of.
