Laura was sitting near the parking lot of the church, when Tyler ran up to her and said, "I'll be your friend!". After that, the two were inseparable. Through thick and thin, they were there for each other.

Tyler called Laura saying that his younger brother had left his laptop at the church, so they had to take him to pick it up the next day. The arrive to the church the next day, and Laura is confused because "the person they are supposed to meet" is nowhere in sight. Suddenly Tyler shouts "Laura, we are here to meet you!" and she turned around to see him down on one knee! Next thing you know, she said yes!
