Newport on the Levee
Just across the river in Kentucky (don’t worry—it’s a quick walk or drive!), Newport on the Levee is a fun spot packed with restaurants, shops, and entertainment. It’s home to the Newport Aquarium, one of the top attractions in the area. You’ll also find cozy coffee spots, local boutiques, and some of the best views of the Cincinnati skyline. A great place to eat, explore, and take in the city vibes!
Findlay Market
A Cincinnati staple since 1855, Findlay Market is Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market—and it’s still buzzing with life! Located in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, it’s the perfect place to grab a fresh pastry, try local eats, or stroll through stands filled with flowers, spices, and handmade goods. Whether you're in the mood for a snack or just want to soak up some local flavor (literally and figuratively), this vibrant market is totally worth a visit! In OTR, you will also find incredible restaurants, bars, and great nightlife.

Tucked into beautiful Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum is a stunning spot with free admission (yes, free!) and a collection that spans more than 6,000 years of art. It also happens to be where we took our engagement photos—so it holds a special little place in our hearts. Whether you're an art lover or just want to wander through something peaceful and inspiring, this is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
Kings Island
About 30 minutes north of the city, Kings Island is perfect for the thrill-seekers in the group! It’s one of the biggest amusement parks in the Midwest, packed with coasters, games, and plenty of excitement. Since its October, Halloween Haunt will be running on select nights—complete with haunted houses, scare zones, and spooky vibes. Check their website for hours and tickets if you’re feeling brave!
